For many years I suffered from chronic congestion and allergies. Funny thing is that congestion is also a symptom of adrenal burnout and general anxiety. I was so congested that I would be fatigued, dizzy, foggy & often the lack of oxygen would trigger a panic attack. Crazy!
My doctor suggested a Neti Pot if I wasn’t going to keep up with allergy medicine I was able to do this saline wash as often as I wanted. After the first time I was hooked!! It is so easy that even my young kids do it too.
The Neti pot looks like a small teapot you fill with lukewarm water and salt, slightly tilt your head, pour the water in one nostril and it will flow from the other. The first time I tried it I thought it was a torture procedure. After I was done, it was a great relief for the next few days. I could breathe deep for the first time in years. Not to mention it is not medication. The next time was much easier.
Today I was feeling tired really for no reason. I realized that I was congested. The weather here in Houston is terrible right now. My sinus cavities were all tight. I hopped up, mixed my saline in my Neti Pot and 5 minutes later I felt so much better!
These pots are available at the drugstore for about $10 and are located near the cold medicine.
My doctor said that many people use these everyday & it keeps them off of allergy medicine & boosts your immune system. Give it a try, you might really like it.
Using the neti pot daily will ease inflammation, flush out your nasal cavities and leave you breathing clearly.
